Design, art & marketing

Since 2009, I’ve worked as a designer and illustrator, focusing on applied game design. I love using the power of games to spark curiosity and explore meaningful topics. Still, for over a decade, I’ve had the dream of creating a real indie game. Now, together with Bob, I’m finally making it happen.

I’ve always been drawn to science fiction and the unknown. Back in primary school, I was already sketching dinosaurs, turtles, and aliens. With Upgraded Studio, I’m finally returning to that childhood passion. These days I’ve got two little boys of my own and a way longer to do list.

Development

Hey there! I’m Bob, a passionate game developer who’s been in love with gaming since the days of Atari. My journey started with pixelated landscapes and has evolved into exploring modern virtual worlds. After years of self-teaching and late-night experimenting, I’m finally making my childhood dream a reality.

With over 200 prototypes under my belt, I’m ready to take the leap, alongside Maarten, and create unforgettable gaming experiences.
